Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft is an animated series based on the hit video game franchise and set within the "Survivor Trilogy" continuity of the three most recent AAA Tomb Raider games, with Hayley Atwell portraying Lara Croft.
The series released to mixed-positive reviews, with many praising Atwell's performance but taking umbrage with the show's story and animation quality.
Though it was hardly a ratings dynamo in its first season, it was nevertheless renewed for a second go-around.
