20 TV Shows That Were Cancelled In 2025

4. Creepshow

Poker Face Cancelled
Shudder

Way back in the "before times" of 2019, horror streaming service Shudder revived the beloved horror anthology movie franchise Creepshow as a TV series.

Though the overall reception was relatively mixed, the evidently low budget and insatiable nature of horror fans nevertheless allowed it to continue for four seasons, the most recent of which dropped in October 2023.

While season five was expected to go into production in 2024, Shudder went strangely quiet on the matter and ultimately said not a word about the show's fate throughout that year.

In fact, fans were left waiting all the way until September 2025 for an update, and it sadly wasn't a good one.

Almost two years after its last episode aired, the streamer confirmed that Creepshow wouldn't be returning for any more seasons, while making the rather dubious claim that it was always intended for a four-season run.

At least Shudder soothed the pain a little by taking this time to announce a Blu-ray boxed set of all four seasons, which was released last November.

It wouldn't surprise anyone if Creepshow came back at some point in the future, but for now it's set to take a prolonged dirt nap.
