Curb Your Enthusiasm: 10 Funniest Susie Moments

3. A “Nice” Divorce – The Divorce (Season 8, Episode 1)

The divorce process is often more stressful than satisfactory, regardless of how civil such a separation may be. Whether it be the endless dialogue with friends and family, mediators, or lawyers, agreeing on the terms of a divorce are typically a long and drawn-out process.

Following his separation from Cheryl in the previous season, Larry is faced with this very predicament. As such, the topic of divorce becomes the main theme of season eight's series opener, with Larry inspiring Marty Funkhouser to join him in the senior citizen singles club. All of this talk of divorce seems to also have an impression on Jeff, but any chance of him leaving Susie are quickly shot down.

When Jeff brings up divorcing Susie during a meal in a public restaurant, Susie tears her husband apart for the mere suggestion that their divorce would be a harmonious process. Susie declares that she will take Jeff for everything he has, threatens to physically hurt him, before finally warning him that if he even dares to try and divorce her, he will rue the day he ever met her.
