Daredevil: 11 Most Fan-Pleasing Moments From Season 2
8. Murdock And Fisk Meet Again
In what was an obvious allusion to the famous Born Again storyline from Daredevil's days spent in print, Murdock and Fisk's meeting symbolised a key moment for the two enemies - showcasing the so-called 'Kingpin of Crime' in all his unrestrained disdain for both Daredevil and his allies, and bringing his meticulous plans for revenge right to the forefront of the second season's proceedings. It was without doubt one of the tensest scenes of the show yet, and the acting talents of Vincent D'Onofrio can never go unmissed. The sheer rage he attempts (and fails) to restrain in this scene is completely and utterly unbridled, and as Matt stokes the hornet's nest knowing full well what might happen, we are treated to an incredibly explosive dramatic set-piece which plays to both actors' strengths superbly. Confrontations with the Kingpin aren't just ones of brawn, but of brain as well. Fisk may have succeeded in making his way to the top of Cell Block D (and in bloodying Matt's face temporarily), but the real victory was his admittance of guilt in facilitating Frank Castle's escape. Still, it serves as a fantastic indicator for where season 3 may venture, and considering Fisk's promises, my money's on it being a brutal one.
