Daredevil TV Show: 10 Things It Can Finally Get Right

8. It€™s Going To Be On Netflix

Netflix will be releasing all thirteen episodes at once, meaning that there will be quite a few people who binge watch the series. This means that unlike Agents of SHIELD, which relies heavily on cliffhangers to keep our attention, the show can essentially act as a thirteen hour movie. Charlie Cox has said that being on Netflix allows the show to be darker than Marvel€™s other TV shows, and he has said that this format allows the writers to explore an in depth story. Sounds exciting, right? Ben Affleck€™s portrayal of Daredevil in 2003 is so often ridiculed because within the time span of the movie we had to be introduced to Matt Murdock, learn how he got his powers, see him fall in love with Elektra before seeing her killed, and then we had to see him take down Kingpin and Bullseye. That€™s a lot of story for a film that barely makes it over the one and a half hour mark. This format is new for Marvel, and it seems like it is going to allow Daredevil to thrive.
