DC's Legends Of Tomorrow Season 1: 15 WTF Moments From 'Pilot, Part 1'

1. Rip Hunter€™s Personal Vendetta

Remember that woman and son who were mercilessly executed by Vandal Savage in the episode€™s opening moments? Well, in a big WTF shocker, we find out here that they were actually Rip Hunter€™s other half and his child, Jonas. Until now, we were to believe that Hunter was on a mission for the betterment of mankind and for the future of the planet itself, but it€™s clear that there€™s also a personal element to Rip€™s task. This only adds further to the urgency and determination shown by Hunter in wanting to take down the immortal Savage, be it to save humanity or to save his own family unit. And where the Legends team is concerned, the fate of Hunter€™s family actually seems to buy Rip some sympathy from the pissed off group who had only moments earlier found out that they were all destined to be worthless, expandable chumps.
