2. Volstok€™s Agenda

Dun, dun, dun, dun! Who€™d have thunk it €“ you can€™t actually trust a Soviet scientist during the Cold War era? Comic book fans may have seen this coming a little, seeing as how the character Valentina Volstok is a double-agent, often playing both sides against each other, but it was still a WTF moment here to see Volstok reveal that she knew what Vandal Savage was up to all along, and that she was happily part of his plans to create a Firestorm and destroy the planet. So, I guess that means that Captain Cold€™s game really wasn€™t all that impressive after all, and that she was merely playing along.
