Doctor Who: 10 Exciting Things We Know About Series 8

1. The Twelfth Doctor Is An "Old Beast"

On Doctor Who: Live, Steven Moffat sat back in his chair, and teased the words "different from Matt" when he was asked to describe the Twelfth Doctor. I mean, when does the Moff ever say anything? He teases everything. He probably teases his wife that he's going to the shops. But by all accounts, he was dead on the mark with those three little words. "He's got a great love of the part," he's said. "The moment you think of Peter Capaldi and that face in the TARDIS, that works and everybody gets that. He's going to give us a whole new kind of Doctor. We've got used to two brilliant iterations of the younger, more popular Doctor and they have both been superlative, but now it's time for the old beast to snarl at you for a bit!" It looks like Doctor Who is returning back to its Classic era roots. But what would you like to see from Peter Capaldi, Steven Moffat and Series 8? Comments below are welcome.
