6. Who Are The Main Villains?
We've seen pictures of that Zygon. We've heard that the ComicCon trailer features many Zygons. We've seen pictures of Daleks. And then there's talk of Cybermen. But who's the main villain of this piece? Is there even a main villain, or is it a conglomerate like in 'The Pandorica Opens'? Will we see many more returning villains, and is that why the likes of the Ice Warriors, the Great Intelligence and the Silurians have been written back into the series in Moffat's era? There's so many questions about who will face Who, and it really is open-ended: this is a story about the Doctor, Moffat keeps saying, so what if the villain is in fact the John Hurt Doctor? And knowing the Moff's track record, who'd put it past him to invent a new villain for this occasion?
