Doctor Who: 10 Questions We Have About 'The Day Of The Doctor'

3. Will There Be Any Real Shock Surprises?

See, he looks wiser already Moffat's been lying through his teeth, apparently. Which is actually, rather exciting. I mean, there's always a corner of the fandom that cries "Moffat lies!" but he really doesn't. He toys with what he wants us to know like a cat with string, and he's never actually told us something that turned out to be untrue. But now he's saying that he's lying. Which could be a lie. But it could mean Christopher Eccleston. It could mean that Susan's returning: she could've been living with a fobwatch all this time. It could mean a prequel featuring Paul McGann, as some people have speculated. It could mean a cameo from Peter Capaldi, as the Twelfth Doctor come to visit early. What? I thought this anniversary was supposed to look forward, not back? These ideas are just be ridiculous fantasies: I have almost weekly updates with my friend Darren about how Nine really could be appearing. But it really does prompt the question: what are you hoping that Moffat's lied about?
