Doctor Who: 5 Ways To Bring Back Paul McGann For More On Screen Adventures

3. A Mini-Series Detailing The Events That Led To 'Night Of The Doctor'

8th Doctor Mini Series1 Better still, let's take the idea of the events leading up to the 'Night Of The Doctor' and put that on our television screens. A mini series or feature length adventure that chronicles the early days of the Time War, where Time Lords became as much villains as the Daleks and the universe began to loose hope? Again, you don't need to show massive battles and out-the-box ideas like the nightmare child...but we could see the aftermath of these events. Ruined worlds. Refugees. The Doctor trying to save the galaxy and loosing the fight . The final months (or years) of the Eighth Doctor...leading up to a televised showing of the 'Night Of The Doctor' to end it all on a tragic note. If we can't have a whole series of Paul McGann's Doctor, would this be enough to appease us?
