Doctor Who: 10 Best Episodes To Get You Into The Classic Series

2. The Tomb of the Cybermen

Attack Of The Cybermen Doctor Who
BBC

If you’re skeptical about 60s black and white Who then stick this on, a truly great story in general, not to mention the best Cybermen story. The Cybermen are genuinely terrifying, and Patrick Troughton proves that he is one of the most underrated Doctors.

The Doctor and Jamie are one of the most loveable duos in the show, while 60s Cybermen are arguably the best variants of the monsters. The Tomb of the Cybermen is a great jumping in point for any casual or full-on fan of NuWho with it even being Matt Smith’s favourite story.

The performances are great, and the Doctor’s speech to Victoria is excellent. The best of the best is on offer here with a great villain, Doctor, and TARDIS team. This is where to start when beginning 60s Who, but for Classic Who in general there is one that surpasses it…

Lewis Bunce hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
