5. Harry Lloyd As Baines - Human Nature/The Family Of Blood (Series 3, Episodes 8/9)
In keeping with the same story, on the other end of the spectrum comes one of the most memorable one-time villains in NuWho.
Before being taken over by the green gaseous predators, Baines was an unlikeable schoolboy at the school John Smith taught in and with this transformation came a bombastic performance from Harry Lloyd.
Lloyd is equal parts sinister and hilarious, ranging from quietly devious in his plans to infiltrate the school and expose The Doctor, to barking mad as he takes great pleasure in the suffering of those he sees beneath him.
Similar to Toby Jones, Lloyd is captivating and scene stealing, with too many great moments to list in one entry. We Whovians love a good villain and Harry Lloyd is a delightfully evil addition to the catalogue.
