Doctor Who: 10 Reasons David Tennant Deserved His Special Recognition Award

5. His Voice Is As Recognisable As His Face

The Doctor travelled all of time and space but when it comes to Tennant€™s vocal work he really has got around. He larynxed his way through a couple of animated escapades as the tenth incarnation of everyone€™s favourite Time Lord and enchants children via Tree Fu Tom. Another sci-fi franchise was graced with his presence when he played lightsaber-meister Huyang in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Getting all historical, he was Charles Darwin in the underrated Pirates In An Adventure With Scientists and over the past few years he has shed light on fantastical events involving real life creatures in productions like Polar Bear: Spy On The Ice.
