Doctor Who Cast: Where Are They Now?
4. Jenna Coleman - Clara Oswald
Clara became the second companion in the revival series after Rose Tyler to travel with multiple Doctors, aiding the transition from Eleven to Twelve. She also has the distinction of being the longest-serving companion of the revival series.
Jenna Coleman's acting prowess makes Clara's dangerous journey towards becoming more and more like the Doctor a fully believable one. She departed the show in 2015, journeying off into the stars with her very own TARDIS.
Since then, Coleman has starred in Victoria, a series about the life of the legendary British monarch, for ITV and received awards attention for her performance. She was also featured in the BBC One thriller The Cry, about a distraught mother whose newborn baby goes missing on a trip abroad.
Other impressive entries on her post-Doctor Who acting resume include a role in acclaimed dark comedy series Inside No. 9 and her leading part as the girlfriend of real life serial killer Charles Sobhraj in The Serpent, currently airing on BBC One.
