Doctor Who: Every Doctor Kiss Ranked Worst To Best

19. The Tenth Doctor And Lady Christina De Souza

These two could have been so great together.

The 2009 Easter Special, Planet Of The Dead, is a harmless enough adventure, most notable for starring Daniel Kaluuya in one of his early roles. Also featured is companion Lady Christina De Souza played by Michelle Ryan. While some fans and critics disliked the character, labelling her a Lara Croft ripoff, it was undeniable that Ryan had excellent chemistry with David Tennant and their dynamic is definitely one of the stronger aspects of the story.

After the pair save the day, Christina kisses the Tenth Doctor, becoming his new romantic interest and kicking off a new series for the two. Except that wasn't the case.

This was Christina's only appearance on the show, rendering their kiss pretty meaningless in the grand scheme of things. It's a real shame, as it would have been great to see the pair in more adventures throughout space and time. Alas, this is all we got.
