Doctor Who: Every Thirteenth Doctor Episode Ranked From Worst To Best
11. Spyfall Part 2
The inferior half of Spyfall fumbles its strong set up, sidelining both the Kasaavin and Lenny Henry’s Daniel Barton in favour of the newest incarnation of the Master.
Sacha Dhawan is great, but the plot sadly goes off on a tangent into the past that feels entirely disconnected from the rest of the plot. When this story is good, it’s some of the best material of Series 12. When it’s bad, we get Graham doing the "soft shoe shuffle" in laser boots. Sigh.
Also, let us never forgive the ill-judged climax that sees the Doctor defeat the Master by weaponizing his race against him, and potentially having him sent to a Nazi concentration camp. Bit much, Chibnall?
