Ill admit, whenever Vale Decem (literally translated Farewell Ten) comes on my iPod I shed a tear or two or a waterfall, whatever. *sniffle* Having defeated the Master one last time, the Doctor finds Wilfred Mott trapped in a radiation chamber, a chamber that will only release him if someone else steps into the adjacent chamber in Wilfs place. The Doctor releases him and takes a fatal dosage of radiation in the process. As he slowly dies from radiation poisoning, the Doctor visits each of his companions for one last goodbye, including a water works inducing scene where he visits Rose Tyler on New Years 2005, the year they would meet for the first time. It is after this final goodbye when the Doctors body begins to deteriorate, and as he walks into the TARDIS in tears of pain and looming mortality, he whimpers the five words that define his final moments, I dont want to go. We didnt want you to either, David With that last line, in a fiery regeneration came my Doctor, Matt Smith, and a crippled TARDIS crash landing towards the little town called Leadworth, where a little girl would be waiting
