Every Umbrella Academy Episode Ranked Worst To Best

There is usually nothing better than a finale episode done right, yet while the first season's conclusion was exceptional, this episode was even better, with some of the most jaw dropping, and heart breaking scenes of the season, which is really saying something.

There was a lot to enjoy from Harlan, the Handler and Lila, and the two Number 5s trying to outsmart and kill each other was nothing short of compelling and fun, particularly with Luther caught in the middle. This scene linking 1963 to when 5 first jumped back to 2019 was a wonderful callback to the first ever episode, and wrapped almost the entire season's time jumping story line up perfectly.

As incredible as 5's battle with himself was however, the standout of this episode was Ben. As a character rarely able to connect with anyone other than Klaus, his impact on the series until now was relatively limited. However, his sacrifice to help save the world, his family, and Vanya herself, was one of the truly exceptional moments from any of the Hargreeves family. You'd have to be made of stone to watch that with a dry eye.
