1. We'll See Plenty Of Murder House & Coven Characters Throughout

The best thing about this Murder House/Coven crossover is the fact that we'll have the opportunity to revisit plenty of our favourite AHS characters from days gone by. Now that we know which cast members will be appearing in Apocalypse, it's time to look at the characters they're portraying.

As previously mentioned, Sarah Paulson is coming back for Apocalypse, and she will be revisiting both of her previous AHS roles, meaning that medium Billie Dean Howard and Supreme witch Cordelia Foxx will be back on our screens. However, the esteemed actress will also be portraying a brand new character named Venable.

Cordelia isn't the only Coven character that's returning however, as Ryan Murphy has posted several shots on Twitter, confirming that Madison Montgomery, Queenie, Misty Day, Zoe Benson and Myrtle Snow will also be appearing. Stevie Nicks will one-again play the fictionalised version of herself, who was last seen in the Coven finale.

The villainous Tate Langdon will also be back. This is great news, as the Tate character was largely responsible for putting Evan Peters on the map, and remains Peters' best role on the show. What's more, the disturbing character's relationship with Violet was one of AHS' original draws. While actress Taissa Farmiga will be portraying her Coven character, it's been confirmed that she will also revisit the role of Violet, so this terrific romance with Tate may resurface. Vivien and Ben Harmon will also appear briefly.
