Along with Lois being killed and resurrected, so too has James Woods. In the season 9 episode "And Then There Were Fewer", Woods is stabbed to death by former girlfriend Diane Simmons in a 'Murder Mystery' style plot that also sees Stephanie, Muriel Goldman, Derek Wilcox and Woods' girlfriend Priscilla all bite the bullet. But unlike the other four, Woods somehow survives and makes a surprise appearance in season 10's Tom Tucker: The Man and His Dream, revealing that because he is a celebrity, he was entitled to top-notch medical care at 'Hollywood Hospital', where the life force from a 17-year-old girl is transfused into James, thereby bringing him back from the dead. Though not a celebrity per-se, Brian has been famous before, such as when he writes a best-selling book ('Brian Writes A Bestseller') and ends up on Channel 5 News and 'Real Time with Bill Maher', even hiring Stewie as his publicist, meaning there's certainly scope for him to be entitled to the somewhat supernatural facilities on offer at 'Hollywood Hospital' and one day make another appearance, much like Woods.
