Family Guy: Every Season Ranked Worst To Best (So Far)

6. Season 3

After Season 2 ended, Family Guy was officially cancelled. But due to the outcry from devoted fans, Seth MacFarlane's creation was revived. Even though the third outing wasn't as good as its predecessor, Season 3 is still one of the series' strongest periods.

It was during this time where the show stopped focusing entirely on replicating the Simpsons-like family dynamic, and pushed more storylines revolving around fan-favourites, Brian and Stewie, having their own adventures.

It was clear Family Guy was pushing the offensive humour even more this time round (which actually led to the studio refusing to air the episode, When You Wish Upon A Weinstein). However, fans lapped up Family Guy's need to antagonize everyone and everything, which helped the show earn a reputation for stirring controversy on the same level as South Park.
