Futurama: Every Season Ranked Worst To Best
2. Season Four
Between the next two seasons, things get incredibly difficult to rank, but for this list it's season four that takes the runner-up spot. With added emotion carried over from season three and more humour than ever, season four has such classics as the emotionally devastating "Jurassic Bark" and the funny, heartwarming "The Sting," both of which come complete with two of the show's best-ever twist endings.
With this added emotion comes the hysterical "Where No Fry Has Gone Before," which pits the Planet Express crew against the original Star Trek cast in a crossover you didn't know you needed, and "Crimes of the Hot," where Al Gore's head tries to tackle global warming. The episode "The Why of Fry" also gives more detail on Fry's background and purpose, and the results are equal parts hilarious and sweet.
Season four is everything Futurama set out to be - funny, thoughtful, touching and happily bonkers with its storylines. It's well balanced, sharply written and full to the brim with too many great character moments to count. Honestly, it makes you wonder why Fox decided to cancel it...
