Game Of Thrones: 10 Most Outrageous Fan Theories You Won't Believe

5. Jon Snow Becomes A White Walker

Jon’s fate at the end of A Dance with Dragons/season 5 is said to be fairly conclusive: he’s dead and not coming back. Except, of course, it’s almost certain that he will return.

There are a few theories as to how he comes back, mostly involving Melisandre and/or warging into Ghost. But what if there were another, rather more shocking explanation?

The Others have the ability to raise the dead, and they also have the power to turn babies into White Walkers. So could it be that there is someway Jon is turned into a Walker, perhaps by the Night’s King he has a stare-down with at the end of Hardhome?

In the books when he is stabbed he “feels only the cold” which could indicate an attack on The Wall by the Others, while Bran has a dream in which he sees Jon’s skin growing pale. It’s A Song of Ice and Fire, after all, and with Daenerys the fire, this would be literally making Jon the ice.
