Tyrion is the star of the whole show. Virtually any scene he touches turns to gold, none more so than his trial scene during Season 3. Daenerys' 'ruling' scenes were good enough, Stannis at the Iron Bank provided some necessary context, and Ramsay's treat bath for Reek was creepily, expertly tense, but Tyrion's trial will go down as one of the greatest in the show's history. For all of the rejection and loathing Tyrion has endured throughout his life, he maintained a cool, charming attitude, swatting away the injustices with ease, but Shae caused him to tip and Peter Dinklage delivered his amazing speech. Also give a huge amount of credit to Charles Dance for Tywin's part in the scene with his slick nature and authority oozing onto the screen, while Tyrion demanding the trial by combat at the end was a true 'fist-pump' closing line complete with an epic stare-down.
