Game Of Thrones Season 8: Everything We Learned From EW's Cover Story

3. Sansa Is Unhappy With Jon Bending The Knee

Although they had a happy and emotional reunion back in Season 6, Jon and Sansa have struggled to see eye-to-eye ever since. They differed on strategy, on leadership, and kept things from one another, on top of animosity from Jon, a bastard, being crowned King in the North.

Things aren't going to get much better when he returns, with EW reporting that "Sansa isn’t thrilled that Jon bent the knee to his fancy new Targaryen girlfriend."

The point of having a King in the North is to be independent, while even worse - in Sansa's eyes - will be Jon pledging the North's allegiance to someone she has never met, to someone their people don't know or trust, and to someone directly descended from the Mad King. However, with only six episodes to go and the Army of the Dead on the march, there isn't much time for family squabbles.
