Game Of Thrones Theory: 10 Hints Jon Snow Will Become King In The North

4. Northern Lords In Season 6

Although much of this theory is based on events - or reading between the lines - in the books, there are signs that it's going to have a bigger part to play in the show in Season 6. Notably, there have been an number of castings for Northern lords and the like. One who has already been confirmed is Smalljon Umber, the son of Greatjon Umber. It's likely, given that Greatjon hasn't been seen since Season 3, that Smalljon will be taking on his role as the head of House Umber, which is a big supporting seat for House Stark, and potentially Jon Snow. There's also a new Lord Karstark, although understandably he may not be too keen on swearing to the Starks given Robb had his father killed. The other two aren't confirmed, but there are some hints as to who they might be. One is a character named (for casting purposes at least) Boyce, "a callow young Northern nobleman in his 20€™s who has been thrust into a position of power before he is ready." Speculation is that he'll play Lord Cerwyn, whose father Ramsay flayed last year, meaning he'll have reason to support a rival to the Boltons. Then there's the bigger one (literally): "A fat nobleman in his 60€™s. He has distinctive rugged features, a Northern accent, and a distinguished air. Our source says he has a stirring speech during which he unexpectedly shifts political allegiances." If that's not Lord Manderly then bake me into a pie. As for returning cast to throw into this mix, it's also been announced that we'll once again be seeing Rickon, which might just have something to do with that casting mentioned above, and indeed this entire theory.
