Game Of Thrones: 5 Winners And 5 Losers From 'Two Swords'

1. The Hound

The biggest loser this week is the Hound (although he wins the award for best use of cursive language). For such a big, intimidating brute, he's very quick to let himself get taken advantage of by a small girl who's a third of his size. In their only scene of the episode, the Hound has again managed to find himself getting into fights he wants no part of at the behest of Arya. Sandor has to protect her €“ she's his meal ticket €“ but she has a tendency to run head first into dangerous situations without considering how she is going to get out of them. Luckily for her, the Hound is good at killing people, although this time he takes a pretty serious beating in the process, with little to no help from Ayra herself. The Hound believes that he is the captor and she the hostage, but you could easily see how those roles are merely labels and are in truth reversed. If he keeps letting her lead him around like he currently does, he's going to find himself in a fight that he can't bully his way out of. An honorary mention to wrap things up: the other loser in this final scene is continuity. In an interview for Season 1, Maisie Williams made mention of the fact that Arya is left handed. She herself is right handed, and had to learn how to hold a sword with her left hand during the scenes where she was taking sword-fighting classes. In this latest episode, Arya kills the first man with her right hand guiding the hilt of the sword, slices Polliver in the back of his legs with her right hand, takes Needle from his belt with her right hand, and then finally switches to her left to make the kill. Make up your mind guys!
