Hawkeye: Every Main Character Ranked Worst To Best
10. Kazi
More on the Tracksuit Mafia shortly, but one of their group that stood out, or at least was supposed to, was Kazi. He was a level above them in the Kingpin's hierarchy, almost on the same level as Maya Lopez, but he didn’t really bring anything particularly different to the table.
He fought with Kate, with Clint, and with Maya, and he lost every single time. The twist that he was involved in the death of Maya’s father was interesting at least, but it wasn’t enough to justify his larger role than the others.
What was arguably most disappointing about Kazi is that there was potential for him to be the dark and mysterious character from the comics, but he wound up far more generic. There was no troubled backstory, he wasn’t hired specifically to kill Hawkeye, and even if he had been, he was useless with a rifle in his hands.
Fans of the source material were waiting patiently for Kazi’s transformation into something closer to Clown from the comics, but this just never happened. He was, in the end, yet another utterly forgettable villain.
