9. Laura Barton
Upon the revelation that Clint Barton had a family hidden away even from his Avenging teammates, his wife Laura was introduced. Ever since, Hawkeye has been trying his best to just retire and enjoy life away from the hero gig, but he has kept being dragged away.
The same thing happened when he took his kids to New York over the holidays, as Kate Bishop and the Ronin suit stopped him from getting back home until Christmas morning. However, even so his wife was understanding and trusting of her husband's judgement.
Though the majority of her limited scenes were her speaking on the phone to Clint, there was a new mystery added to the fray surrounding her in the way of a Rolex watch. Laura wanted it back, and it wasn’t until the finale that it was confirmed to be hers, as Agent 19 of SHIELD.
This confirmed a long standing fan theory that she was, in fact, Mockingbird, adding another layer to the character. Even though she appeared scarcely at most, this was arguably her biggest and certainly most revealing role in the MCU yet.
