7. Jigsaw Is Born (Episode 13, "Memento Mori")

The Punisher's season finale concludes with an ultra-violent showdown between Frank and Billy Russo, where Frank defeats Billy in a savage fairground brawl, but rather than kill him, he does one worse: he repeatedly smashes and scrapes Billy's face against a broken mirror, severely disfiguring him.

Now, you needn't be a comic book aficionado to know that this is setting Russo up to return in a potential second season, but more to the point, his disfigured face completes his transformation into one of The Punisher's most iconic foes: Jigsaw.

It's a nauseatingly violent scene and one that realises Russo becoming a supervillain in unforgettable fashion. Ben Barnes did a surprisingly fantastic job with Russo, so hopefully he'll get to have plenty of demented fun with a crazed Jigsaw next season (assuming there is one, of course).
