Marvel's Daredevil: 10 Iconic Comic Book Moments We Still Need To See
4. Matt Murdock: Daredevil?
In Brian Michael Bendis’ fantastic Marvel Knights run on Daredevil, his first story arc ‘Underboss’ concludes with one of The Kingpin’s men going the FBI and giving up his knowledge of Daredevil’s secret identity. An arc that changed the character of Daredevil forever, Matt was thrust into the limelight as he battled a court case against himself to prove he wasn't the hero of Hell's Kitchen.
Up until very recently (Daredevil's canon seems to have been drastically altered post-Secret Wars), the repercussions of ‘Underboss’ have shaped Matt into a more desperate, cautious vigilante, constantly having to look over his shoulder so that the rumours of Daredevil being the unassuming Matt Murdock never catch up to him again.
Seeing as Daredevils Season 3 trailers seem to depict a Matt Murdock on the edge, and with at least Karen Page, Elektra and Kingpin now knowing his secret identity, a story revolving around the shattering of Matt’s carefully constructed double life seems to be just around the corner.
