3. Psycho Rudy

Following the devastating departure of Sheehan after season two, Joseph Gilgun (
This Is England) joined the cast and the character "Rudy Wade" was born. Just as Sheehan was responsible for much of the show's success, Gilgun can be credited with keeping Misfits running following the cast upheaval. In many ways, Rudy is similar to Sheehan's Nathan - he's cocky, arrogant, a ladies man, and a bit of a prat, too. But he's more than that, because, actually, he has three different personalities. One of the show's more... interesting of superpowers is Rudy's ability to break up into three different characters. There's the first Rudy, Rudy Too, a shyer, more complex version of the original and Dark Rudy. The latter of which is easily the best of the three. Appearing in episode three of the fourth season, "Dark Rudy" is released from prison and hunts the other Rudy's down, causing untold carnage and destruction along the way. After Rudy Too managed to get Dark Rudy imprisoned for assault, Gilgun's more malevolent personality attempts to exact revenge on the two in one of Misfit's more memorable of episodes.
