8. This Mysterious New Character

Massive props to depeszaZ on Reddit, who noticed this mysterious figure in the background of various shots in the trailer.

With nothing but the presence of Anya Chalotra's Yennefer to tie them together, the jury's out as to just who this person is, as nothing related to Yen's backstory or role in the novels has warranted an "overseer" whatsoever.

We do see the School of Sorceresses far earlier in the trailer when Yenn is first talking with Geralt, so perhaps a watcher from the school, or some other more powerful foe that we're all going to notice was there all along at the close of the season?
