As well as general sex-related problems, Season 1 of Sex Education tackled some serious topics such as abortion, sexuality and family conflict. They also commented on feminism, slut-shaming and sexually active middle-aged people.
Whilst Season 2 will expand upon these, it will likely explore other issues. Fans have tweeted nothing but praise for everything the show has explored, particularly when it came to LGBT content. Many are hoping for an asexual character in Otis and a deeper exploration into Jackson’s mental health.
