Riverdale Season 3: 2 Ups & 4 Downs From 'Prom Night'
1. The Prom Setting
If a high school show doesn't have a prom in it at some point, is it really even a high school show?
Riverdale resurrected the age-old trope as the characters found themselves going to the junior prom - the first dance-like event since the show's pilot episode. Of course, being Riverdale, they couldn't miss an opportunity to tie a high school dance to some major life-or-death event as Betty and Jughead attempted to make their last-minute idea for a Renaissance-themed prom a reality - all in a bid to draw out the Gargoyle King.
