Riverdale Season 4 Midseason Finale: What Does The Ending Really Mean?
2. Forsythe Has Abandoned His Family Again (Or Has He?)
In another surprising turn of events, Jughead finally managed to track down his grandfather, Forstyhe I, and got the answers he was craving in regards to the mystery behind the origin of the Baxter Brothers franchise. However, the meeting propelled Jug to reveal all to his father, FP, and, in the process, ask him if he'd be open to a reunion with his once-abusive father. Shockingly, FP agreed.
Unfortunately Jughead's return to his grandfather's location suggested that the old man had once again packed up and left his family behind - a shock that got to FP more than he thought it would. That said, could this be a rouse to use Forstyhe's reputation against him? There's more going on at Stonewall Prep than meets the eye, especially as far as the Jones family legacy is concerned, so perhaps somebody got to Forsythe and made it look like he left again?
When it comes to Riverdale, who knows?
