4. Up - A Good Time During A Hard Time

It was one of the most painful moments of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, but in Avengers: Endgame Tony Stark snapped his fingers and sacrificed himself for the greater good. Though he hasn’t been featured in Phase Four physically outside of What If…?, Iron Man’s impact has still been felt.

His name has been mentioned in almost every Phase Four project, and his legacy is still having an effect. This has typically been on a larger scale by the world at large, but this episode was the first opportunity to truly see Bruce Banner grieve and deal with the death of his best friend.

The science bros spent a lot of time in Mexico together, building a lab and bar for Bruce, and living through the Blip. They needed each other, and helped each other through the toughest time of either of their lives, which is truly saying something.

Sitting in the bar, drinking, complaining about Steve Rogers, and adorably carving their initials into the bar was their way of having a good time during a hard time. This was the most personal tribute to Tony Stark yet, and it was incredibly touching.
