Smallville: 10 Best Characters Only In One Episode

8. Titan

Booster Gold Smallville
The CW

Titan is a character who stands out for the simple fact that he was played by Glenn Jacobs, aka hulking multiple-time WWE World Champion Kane. But added to that, his appearance in Smallville was also a fun spin on Fight Club.

The episode in question was 'Combat', and it saw the behemoth Titan released from the Phantom Zone. From intergalactic prison wasteland, the natural first location for Titan to hit upon his release was clearly Omaha, Nebraska. There, Titan began to take part in the seedy underground Live or Die club.

Having beaten every jabroni put in his way, all Titan wanted was a good fight. And in Clark Kent, the powerhouse alien got his wish.

What makes this particular one-off appearance stand above certain others, is that it was in his fight with Titan that audiences got to see Clark begin to enjoy unleashing brutality on someone. To the point that CK even let out a smile as Titan died - albeit if that death was as a result of Titan falling on his own weapon.

By time all was said and done with 'Combat', Titan was actually happy as he took his final breath, for he'd finally managed to find a worthy opponent.
