South Park: Every Main Character Ranked Worst To Best

This deplorable villain of a child is a massive part of what makes the show so fantastic, and thus he was always going to be one of the highest-ranked mains. Eric Cartman is a nightmare child, and would even make Damien from The Omen a little intimidated. Still, his mean spirited jokes and general prejudices are fantastic bridges for narratives and comedy moments.

He is a character that you love to hate, as his acts are deplorable, but give you a chance to laugh at some taboo subjects. Trey Parker and Matt Stone ingeniously crafted the role to be the character that accumulates the majority of the risqué humour, and thus he can often act as the focal point for the more dangerous moments without souring any of the other characters.

In addition to this, Eric has a wonderful connection to wordplay comedy. His constant mispronunciations such as the classic "respect my authoritah!" makes him hilarious to listen to, and combined with the general voice performance from Trey Parker makes him one of the funniest characters.

As the series anti-protagonist, he is integral to the show's identity and does a great job of it.
