South Park's 10 Most Savage Parody Episodes Ever
1. The Simpsons
The Simpsons is probably the biggest TV show of the 20th century, and it's still kicking some thirty years later. What's great is that rather than doing a straight up spoof, mocking the show, the episode "Simpsons Already Did It" was born from The Simpsons beating South Park to the chase with a few story ideas.
Cartman has bought the show's equivalent of Sea-Monkeys, but is enraged to discover they don't look or behave at all like they do on the box. Through a circuitous turn of events involving gross stuff (just watch the episode), their teacher dies and the Sea People are brought to a level of intelligence more closely resembling the packaging. They see Cartman and Tweek as their gods, which causes a rift between the Sea People. Result: small scale nuclear war.
Meanwhile, Butters is freaking out as every idea or plot he concocts as his alter-ego Professor Chaos already has been done by The Simpsons. His mania results in everyone turning yellow and the show changing its entire look to match The Simpsons.
The moral: The Simpsons has been going for so long of course it's done everything, twice; in fact, every idea has already been done to a certain degree.
