Among Altan's android butterflies, Agnes discovers that Soong and Bruce Maddox have created a golem – a physical body just waiting to be implanted with someone's memories. Unfortunately for Soong, Maddox was the one working on mind transfer so he needs Agnes' help finishing the project.

Soong later says he feels a sense of urgency, so it's clear someone's memories are going into that 3D printed body... maybe his? Maybe Data's?

Mind transfer (or the synaptic scanning technique) was actually previously perfected by Doctor Noonien Soong as established in the aforementioned "Inheritance". In that episode, Noonien Soong's wife Juliana was killed and Soong implanted her memories into an identical, android body. Juliana went on to live her life fully unaware she was an android, a secret Data helped keep.
