Teen Titans Revival: 10 Reasons It Will Be Better Than Titans

3. A Wider Potential Audience

One of the biggest mistakes Titans has already made is not so much that it's trying to be 'mature' as much as it is that they've gone the extra mile for a TV-MA rating.

This is not inherently a bad thing, as Marvel's Netflix shows have proven, but when you take a show already as polarizing as Titans is becoming and then essentially lock out a huge portion of your audience, it's almost like you're setting it up to fail. And that's not even taking into account the fact that the series will already be behind the paywall of the (currently US-only) DC Universe service.

Teen Titans, on the other hand, is a series that has proven to be just as popular with adults as it was with children. Combine that with the fans who have been calling for the show's return for years, as well as the fact that a whole new generation has had Teen Titans Go! to get them interested in the IP, and you have a recipe for fan investment across the board.

If Teen Titans returns to free TV (which it probably will), it's guaranteed to be a smashing success. And even if the revival is put on a streaming service, the fact remains that it has a much stronger built-in viewer base than Titans does.
