8. Eric Kripke Supports Starlight
One of the most important moments in Starlight's season one arc comes at the Believe Expo, where is slated to give a speech about her religious beliefs. However, the day has taken a tole on her, and she refuses to lie to her fans about her currently shaky faith. She gives an impassioned speech about her true feelings and her recent sexual assault at the hands of The Deep.
The speech causes an uproar of controversy, with many condemning her actions whilst Madelyn Stillwell expresses anger because Starlight isn't following the rules of the Seven.
Not everyone is dismissive of the superhero, though, as season one's "The Innocents" shows that Starlight has a lot of online support from people on Twitter. In a blink and you'll miss it scene, Eric Kripke's Twitter handle is shown, with The Boys' showrunner having apparently Tweeted out his support for her speech. Awesome.
