The Falcon & The Winter Soldier: 10 Biggest Takeaways From Episode Four

5. Zemo On The Run

As John, Lemar, Sam, and Bucky broke out into a free for all with the Dora Milaje in Zemo's suite, the Sokovian Baron himself calmly finished his drink, and made an exit. Naturally, he didn't relish the prospect of being taken back to Wakanda by Ayo and her fellow warriors, so he escaped through a tunnel underneath the bath tub.

He will now be on the run, with Sam and Bucky after him (once Karli and the Flag Smashers are dealt with), the German government, the Dora Milaje, and possibly even Sharon Carter. He will be one of the most wanted men in the world, but it has been made perfectly clear over the last two episodes that he possesses the money and resources to stay hidden.

Hopefully this won't last for too long however, as he has been one of the highlights of the series so far, something that won't be allowed to continue if he is ultimately taken back to prison.

Episode three had Zemo leaning towards something more of an anti-hero role, rather than continuing as a full on villain, so hopefully Marvel Studios can continue with this, and eventually have the character form the MCU's Thunderbolts in the near future.
