The Flash Season 2: 10 Problems Nobody Wants To Admit
2. Production Is Skimping
King Shark's thirty second appearance at the end of an episode was absolutely amazing CGI work worthy of a high budget film. The only reason that was is because production blew the entire episode's budget on his one scene. It was totally worth it, but it has become more and more obvious as the series has gone along that CW just isn't willing to drop a lot of money on the show. With what budget they do have, the production has done an absolutely amazing job with some of the best CGI work for a TV series that I've seen, but you can only show the Flash running down the same street a few hundred times, or the same up close shot of Barry running with slightly different colors in the background before people start to get tired of seeing literally the same scene over and over again. Even when Barry time travels they use the exact same scenes from previous time travels. I get the budget can't really spare money for more running scenes, but hopefully they can mix it up a bit in the future.
Any time I'm not writing, I'm likely arguing about children's cartoons with strangers on the internet or staring at my ceiling and wondering where it all went wrong.
