The Flash Season 2: 10 Problems Nobody Wants To Admit
5. Where Did So Many Villains Go?
In the first season, General Eiling lead a military outfit equipped with tools to capture the Flash and any other meta-humans they might have encountered. After his first meeting with the Flash, Eiling was kidnapped and left to the devices of Gorilla Grodd. We all know he was eventually saved, swearing his revenge against the primate, but when the season two episode Gorilla Warfare aired, Eiling didn't even come up in passing. You would think a man so determined to catch Grodd would at least start poking around when Grodd shows up and starts killing people, but we guess not. Even more confusing would be the lack of the Pied Piper. He was determined to get back at Wells for what happened when the particle accelerator exploded, but his plans were thwarted by Barry and his friends. He eventually escaped their custody, and has never been heard from again. You would assume he would come poking around after hearing that the person he's targeted for years is dead, but he apparently hasn't had the time in the last year of the show. Of course these characters will probably show up again, but considering the events that have transpired, you'd really expect them to show up sooner.
Any time I'm not writing, I'm likely arguing about children's cartoons with strangers on the internet or staring at my ceiling and wondering where it all went wrong.
