3. Yeah That Happened... Because We Said It Did

The idea that Amunet Black and Goldface used to date would have been fine if it didn't feel like it was thrown at the last minute just to force the narrative along, but unfortunately that's exactly what it felt like.

It's as simple as this: Amunet never mentioned Goldface before because she was introduced a whole season before he was. As for Goldface himself, he was one of Season 5's villains of the week that was probably never supposed to return.

If Amunet had really gone underground for so long, how could Iris and Barry have known the pair used to be together? None of this made sense with the timeline we watched unfold and, while the show could have hidden behind Crisis to explain this one, they ultimately didn't.
