The Mandalorian: 5 Burning Questions Season 2 Must Resolve
1. Will Season Two Feature Characters From The Skywalker Saga?
According to Deadline, series insiders are hinting that some well-known faces from the episodic Star Wars movies could appear in the second season of 'The Mandalorian'. Thus far, the series has succeeded without dipping into any ties to the Skywalker Saga, but the possibility of some characters appearing on the show is nonetheless intriguing.
Obviously, there's a chance we see the most well-known Mandalorian in Star Wars history, Boba Fett, makes his return from the Sarlacc Pit on the show. It would be interesting to see if Fett would be presented as friend or foe in the series, plus it would hopefully allow for us to see more of his personality in what would be one of his first major appearances in the new canon.
Besides Fett though, it's hard to tell what other characters this report could be alluding to. Some serious CGI would be required for the majority of the other original trilogy characters to appear, and most sequel trilogy characters would either be children or teenagers during the show's timeline.
The backstories of characters like Zori Bliss and Poe Dameron would certainly be entertaining to explore after 'The Rise of Skywalker', but it's unclear if they could be told effectively given those restrictions. It would certainly be intriguing to see how 'The Mandalorian' tackled that kind of challenge if there is indeed a crossover of sorts in the works.
