Another awesome stab at the lunacy of FOX News, this gag was a bit much for the some of the blowhards over at FOX News HQ, despite the fact that those who actually ran the network itself didnt seem to have a problem with it whatsoever. At the start of the episode a FOX News helicopter is seen flying with another new slogan that the Simpsons have given the organisation. The slogan Not Racist but #1 with Racists is a clear allusion to the fact that while FOX News claims to be fair and balanced this is laughable considering the fact that its core audience in America are the same people who are still mad that the African American guy won the election. This was so poorly received by FOX News that noted FOX propagandist Bill OReilly actually made a mention on it in his Pinheads or Patriots segment (yes that is a real thing), where he claimed that FOX was letting its cartoon characters run wild (yes he really said that) and that the Simpsons were biting the hand that fed them (because apparently he had never seen the Simpsons in the 21 years it had been running prior to this episode). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzb7CW9KwhM Understandably the staff at the Simpsons thought this was amazing and took it as encouragement to attack them again, which they did next week with a new FOX slogan in the opening sequence reading Unsuitable for viewers under 75. It would be nice to say that OReilly shut his big stupid mouth after this, but alas hes still spewing bile on the airwaves today.
